After the death of former South African President and renowned
world hero Nelson Mandela, many people among them great leaders and
celebrities came out to pay tribute to the fallen icon with pictures
they had managed to pose with him.The Pressure must have been huge
because in an effort to fit in, Nairobi senator Mike Sonko shared a
picture of him in a tight embrace with Mandela via his social media
page.
Problem came in after people discovered that the photo was indeed photoshopped and it is infact the dodgy pixelation that gave him out. Turns out the original picture was that of heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali embracing a jovial Mandela. Of course this caused alot of controversy on social media with the senator being on the receiving end of harsh comments. “what are you? a socialite or a senator” a facebook user asked.
